MAPS
Map distances printed in the Cabot Trail Companion audio guide are approximate and rounded to the nearest half-kilometre; geographical features may be simplified, omitted or not to scale. Visitors wishing to hike or explore in depth should pick up an official Cabot Trail map (at Visitor Information Centres) and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park map (at Parks Canada stations).

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
Cabot Travel Guides does not collect private information about its customers except for certain essential transaction details, limited to: the order reference number; the name, quantity and cost of items ordered; the customer's telephone number, email address, and home/shipping addresses. As a due-diligence (anti-fraud) precaution, we also receive the IP number/location of the computer used to make the order.
The only time we use order-history and customer-contact information is when completing a transaction or addressing a customer-service concern. Cabot Travel Guides does not share the information we receive from you with any other organization or individual, and you will not be contacted about other products or services.

SHIPPING
We do not currently operate an express service. However, if time is short, you can of course arrange to have an order shipped to any address in Cape Breton, to arrive in time for your arrival.
Domestic: Shipment by Canada Post's standard ground service.
U.S. and International Shipments by surface or air mail services.
Usual delivery time for continental North America is 2 to 3 weeks, but please allow up to 45 business days for delivery. If you have not received your order after this time please contact us for a replacement (see Replacement Policy, below).
CONVERSION TRACKING
Cabot Travel Guides measures the effectiveness of its online advertising campaign with a tool developed by Google that counts AdWords conversions. A 'conversion' occurs when a click on a Google AdWord leads directly to a purchase. It works by placing a cookie on the user's computer when he or she clicks on our AdWords ad. Then, if the user reaches a sales confirmation page, the cookie is matched to the www.cabotguides.com web page and Google records the successful transaction. Google's cookie expires in around 30 days and conversion tracking and search results use separate servers, protecting the user's privacy.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Any unopened item may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a full refund (return to the Cabot Travel Guides address at the foot of this page). Upon our receipt of the returned item 2CO will credit the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard etc). Return shipping is currently at the customer's expense.
REPLACEMENT POLICY
If you have received a defective or incorrect order, or if your order fails to arrive within 45 days, please contact us to arrange a replacement.
